  1. Welcome to MXMClock

  3. MXM Clock 1.1 is ¬© 1992 -1993 by Matthew Xavier Mora
  4. it is freeware but not considered Public Domain.

  6. This is a Clock Application that draws a clock in the menubar at idle
  7.  time. It requires 32bitcolor quickdraw and multifinder.
  8.  
  9. How to change the Clock Preferences:
  10.  
  11. Open the resource called "CLCK" in this resource you will see seven 
  12. items.
  13.  
  14. ClockRect
  15. This is the rectangle that the clock will be displayed in. The clock is 
  16. is displayed left justfied in the rectangle. You will need to make this
  17. larger if you increase the font size. Be warned that the larger you make
  18. this  rectangle the more memory you will need to display the clock. 
  19. You might need to give the app more memory for larger clock 
  20. rectangle.

  22. FontNum
  23. This is the font number to use for the display.
  24.  
  25. FontSize
  26. This is the size of the font.
  27.  
  28. BaseLine
  29. This is where the baseline of the font appers in the rectangle. Leave it 
  30. at 0 if you want it to calculate where it should go. If you don't like where
  31. it puts it, you can enter the pixel location of where you want the baseline.
  32.  
  33. Sleeptime
  34. This is the waitnextevent value for the amout of time MXMClock should
  35. yeild while its in the background. You will probably want to set it to
  36. below 60 if you want to display the seconds. The time entered is in ticks 
  37. (60ths of a second)

  39. Wants Secs
  40. Click either true or false if you want to show the seconds.

  42. Clock Offset
  43. With version 1.1 MXM clock now keeps an offset to the right edge
  44. of the menubar so that when moving between systems of monitores it still will display in th ecorrect area.
